Saturday 317.2

Lost a wee bit more of weight yesterday. Drank enough tea to take a bath in. I'm looking forward to my two dietary days off tomorrow.

Friday Going to the Mall 317.8

At least my weight went down this morning and not up.

Breakfast: 4 strips of bacon, 3 eggs, water
Lunch: Panda Express Mixed veggies, teriyaki chicken and walnut shrimp
Iced Tea
Starbucks: Passion Tea
Dinner: Freddies: Chicken Tenders
Tea
Bedtime: Can of kippers

Exercise: Mall walking
I only ate 4 times yesterday. I should have taken a banana with me or something. I really let myself get too hungry between breakfast and lunch.

Third Day 320.4

It is a bit discouraging to start a new eating plan that eliminates all bread and added sugar and gain 1.4 pounds 2 days into it. I know weight fluctuates and 2 days isn't enough to tell anything, but still, ugh. And this isn't a weight loss food plan, but rather a more nutritious way to eat.  I need to see progress though or I'll go bonkers.

Start Day 319

This is the official start date of my new eating plan.  I'm preparing for a convention on Oct. 8. So right now, my goal is to follow the eating plan until then. Then I will reevaluate whether it worked for me or not and make adjustments.

I felt I should weigh myself today though, so I'd have a starting point to measure future results by. Sadly my weight is at a new high; 319 pounds, which makes me feel terrible. I knew I'd been eating a lot lately. My eating has been completely out of control, and because of my physical issues, my exercise has been nil. Even now my right ankle is in screaming pain. It is always worse first thing in the morning.

Anyway, onward and upwards.

8:33 AM Bottle of water (16.9 oz if I drink it all).
10 AM 4 slices bacon, 2 eggs, 1 glass of milk
2 PM banana
3:30 PM Salad at Del Taco. I remembered to ask them not to add tortilla chips (no bread) but didn't realize it had beans. There was no way to take the beans out. I'll be more careful next time.
5:00 Guacamole and carrots
9:00 Pot roast, carrots, squash, onions

Notes: Six meals. I did well for my first day. Not sure how I managed without soda or sugary snacks and desserts.

New Food Journal

Because what you focus on gets stronger, I've decided to keep a food journal again. I'm starting a new eating plan on Sept. 9, 2015. But I'm starting today to track my food for comparison.  This is sort of like the paleo diet but easier to remember. So since my weekend is Sunday and Monday, on Sunday and Monday I can eat anything I want.  But Tuesday through Saturday here are the rules:

No Bread
No Added Sugar
No Starches (potatoes, beans, corn, rice, etc.)

Frequent small meals (5 to 7) a day.

I'm not going nuts to weed out every gram of sugar. I'm not going to worry about things like ketchup. I'm not doing a science experiment. I want to keep it simple so I can succeed.

Today:

8:30 AM 1 small banana
9:30 am 1/2 avocado, 1/3 Adelitas burrito, 1/2 c sour cream
1 can mt dew code red
1/3 bottle Power Ade

1:50 PM tri-tip
1 c red grapes

6 ish Banana Split

8:30 Sizzler Too much food to mention.
